After a while, charismatic content doesn't need humans to intervene, it can take on a life of its own. Do we accept this or do we try to control the content? We'll discuss how people use wikis, social networks, and other tools for outreach, education, and activism. We'll cover risks, such as spamming, data theft and stalking, as well as the benefits, such as being able to more easily engage in activism, outreach and education.

A 90-minute session, currently scheduled for Wednesday May 21, 3:30-5.
